PRP Therapy
PRP Therapy
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), commonly known as "Liquid Gold," is a natural way to rejuvenate your skin. This innovative treatment enhances skin vitality by utilizing your own blood platelets, which play a crucial role in tissue regeneration. These platelets are rich in growth factors that stimulate collagen production and tissue repair. This will give your face brightness, and a more young and refreshed appearance!

The treatment begins from drawing the client's blood and placing it into a specialised centrifuge device. This process separates the nutrient-rich plasma from the red blood cells. Once separated, the platelet rich plasma is then infused into the skin or area of concern. Plasma contains platelets which release important growth factors that instruct your cells to form new collagen and help to treat a wide range of concerns. PRP can be injected or infused during microneedling (also known as the Vampire Facial). This is the most popular advanced treatment that combines microneedling and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy. The procedure involves creating micro-injuries in the skin using fine needles, which stimulates the skin's natural healing processes and boosts collagen and elastin production. PRP is infused into the skin and applied topically during the procedure. The growth factors present in PRP further enhance the skin's repair and regeneration.
A series of 4-6 treatments, spaced 4 weeks apart, is often recommended for optimal results. Maintenance treatments may be suggested every 12 months to sustain the benefits.
Redness and Swelling: Common immediately after the procedure, typically subsiding within a few days.
Mild Bruising: Possible, especially around sensitive areas.
Peeling or Dryness: As the skin heals, some peeling or dryness may occur.
Infection: Very rare, but possible if post-care instructions are not followed.
Downtime
Downtime is generally minimal. Most people experience redness and mild swelling for 1-2 days, similar to a mild sunburn.
Initial results, such as a healthy glow and smoother texture, can be noticed within a week. Full results, including reduced wrinkles and improved skin tone, typically become visible within 4-6 weeks as collagen production continues. Results can last for up to 1 year, however, aging processes cannot be reversed, so maintenance sessions are recommended.
Course of 3 sessions recommended for optimal results.
